Financial Policy

At Peach Grove Animal Hospital we strive to provide timely, quality veterinary care for our patients. We will review the cost estimate with you in advance of all surgical procedures, or non-routine workups. We want you to feel comfortable discussing your financial responsiblities with us so we can help you maximize the health of your pet while staying in line with what you can afford.

All procedures must be paid for, in full, at the time that services are rendered. In order to focus on the needs of our patients, customer service and miminizing costs, we do not bill.

Payment options are Cash, Personal Check with proper identification, Bank Card/Debit Card, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, or CareCredit.

When unexpected illness strikes a pet, unexpected expense strikes as well. Peach Grove Animal Hospital understands this, and works with CARE CREDIT to help with financial arrangements. Our staff can assist you, and approval notice typically happens within a few minutes after applying.

PET INSURANCE:
Pet insurance is a valuable option to help with your pet health costs. To learn more, please visit these pet insurance websites, or others of your choice. There is not a one-size-fits all company or plan; you will need to choose what is right for your individual pets and situation. You are also responsible to file claims with your insurance carrier; we do not provide that service.

APPOINTMENT POLICIES

1) APPOINTMENT SCHEDULING – We work by appointment only, no walk-ins. This helps us see all our clients and your pets in a timely manner, and respects your time. We do appreciate your patience when an emergency arises, and will update you and offer to reschedule should you choose.

2) CANCELLATIONS or RESCHEDULING APPOINTMENTS – Should you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we ask for a 24 hour notice so that we have time to schedule another patient into your appointment slot. Otherwise, your account may be charged a $50 fee.

3) NO-SHOW APPOINTMENT – We make every effort to email, text or call you with your appointment reminder information from 1-3 days prior. Should you miss your appointment, your account may be charged a $50 fee.

4) LATE FOR APPOINTMENT – We reserve the right to reschedule your appointment if you are more than 15 minutes late. We understand things beyond your control can happen to make you late – please call if it is safe to do so and we will advise.
